It features multicolored landscapes and mysterious mountains, blending with snow-capped peaks and deep valleys inhabited by Andean animals and camelids such as alpacas, llamas, guanacos, sheep, and horses. If we are lucky, we may also spot vicuñas and deer along the route. During the journey, we will also get very close to the snowy Apu Ausangate Mountain, and right beside it, the impressive Red Mountain. After arriving at the vehicle parking area, we will continue to the main 7 Colors Mountain at 5,036 meters above sea level, and on the return, it is only 1 hour downhill back to the parking area. ITINERARY RAINBOW MOUNTAIN BY ATV – FULL DAY Cusco – Cusipata – Pitumarca – Vehicle Parking – Rainbow Mountain The adventure begins with the following departure time options: Schedules: 3:00 am 4:00 am 6:00 am 8:30 am We will pick you up from your respective hotels and then begin the trip to the southern side of Cusco city. The total round-trip travel time by bus is approximately 7 hours, covering the route: Cusco / Cusipata / Pitumarca / Vehicle Parking / Pitumarca / Cusipata / Cusco From Cusco to the small village of Cusipata, the trip takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes, where we will enjoy a delicious traditional buffet breakfast. Then we will board our bus again for another 1 hour and 30 minutes until reaching the vehicle parking area. Afterward, our guide will provide instructions so we can get ready with the safety equipment, including helmets, gloves, appropriate ATV clothing, hiking shoes, and other gear, followed by ATV training and practice. Then we will begin the uphill ATV ride (round trip) to Rainbow Mountain, where you will only need to walk about 7 minutes to reach Apu Winicunca at 5,036 meters above sea level, the summit of the mysterious Rainbow Mountain. From this point, we will also be able to admire the sacred snow-covered Apu Ausangate Mountain, revered since Inca times, as well as the mysterious Red Mountain. Here we will have enough time to take photos and videos of the wonderful and colorful mountain landscapes. Finally, we will ride our ATVs back downhill with our guide until we reach the parking area, where we will board our return bus. On the way back, we will stop for about 1 hour and 30 minutes in the small village of Cusipata to enjoy a delicious and restorative buffet lunch. After lunch, we will board our bus back to Cusco city, arriving at approximately 5:30 pm. End of our service.
